Fisher Center at Bard | SummerScape 2023-2024

Associate Production Manager

I have spent the past two summers in upstate New York, working in production management at the Fisher Center. I started as the production management assistant in 2023, but moved in to the associate production manager role for the 2024 summer season. I am also fortunate enough to now be on a year-round contract, participating in the design process before arriving on-site in June. I worked on a 4-person production management team. I assisted with financial tracking for production expenses, maintained detailed notes for a variety of projects, coordinated space/schedule reservations. In production management, I am lucky enough to work on all aspects of the summer, with experiences in dance, theatre, opera, orchestra, and non-traditional venues.

The 2024 SummerScape Productions:

- the world premier of Ulysses, a new piece by Elevator Repair Service

- the world premier of SCAT!...The Complex Lives of Al & Dot, Dot & Al Zollar, the final piece of Urban Bush Women's founder, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar

- Meyerbeer's Le Prophete

The Bard Music Festival, showcasing Berlioz

- The Spiegeltent, a venue hosting a variety of performers including bluegrass groups, swing dance events, and Drag Story Hour.

The 2023 SummerScape Productions:
